PM Free Laptop Yojana 2025: In today’s time, studies are no longer limited to books, but digital education is now reaching every home. Every student now needs a laptop for online classes, assignments and preparation for competitive exams. But not everyone’s financial condition is so strong that they can easily buy a laptop. In view of this difficulty, the government has started PM Free Laptop Yojana 2025 for students. The purpose of this scheme is that even the children from economically weaker sections can study through technology and realise the dream of Digital India.
Under this scheme, eligible students will be given absolutely free laptops. Students who do not have the means to study will not lag behind in their studies due to this scheme. With the help of laptops provided by the government, students will be able to make their studies easier and also prepare for competitive exams. This scheme has currently been implemented in many states Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Gujarat, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Sikkim. In the coming time, it will be extended to other states also.
Eligibility for PM Free Laptop Yojana 2025
Some conditions have been fixed to avail the benefits of this scheme. Only those students can apply for this scheme who meet the criteria given below.
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of the same state where the scheme is implemented.
- This scheme is only for those students who are studying or recently passed in 9th, 10th, and 12th.
- The student’s family should be financially weak and the annual income should not exceed Rs 1 lakh.
- If any member of the family is doing a government job then the student will not be able to avail the benefit of this scheme.
- There should not be any income tax payer in the applicant’s family.

Application process in PM Free Laptop Yojana 2025

- Now you have to do a new registration and login and fill the application form.

- After submitting the application, you will get an application number which is important to keep safe.
- After verification of the application, the eligible students will be informed through SMS or Email and then they will be provided with free laptop.
